Defuser.com offers a service to edit the mail received into the customers personal defuser Inbox that you (the customer) duely  authorized us to enter, copy and edit content. Defuser.com does not change the original email by saving a copy to make the changes in preparation for the customer to read.

While full training is given to all Defuser.com staff we do not accept any liability for the comments or actions of our staff while preparing the emails nor for any loss of content that may arise for any reason. The customer acknowledges that the original email should remain in the inbox for them to reference against the defused email and accepts that they are responsible for checking the original email for content that may have been removed should they consider this action necessary.

Emails can at times indicate the threat of physical harm to the customer or self harm to the sender. While our training considers this a serious issue that will not be removed in the defused edit the customer accepts they are responsible for reviewing the original content to ensure the full extent of the risk to them or the sender is at all times considered and acted on through the appropriate channels.

The Customer acknowledges that they have checked all comments prior to forwarding a reply email to the sender and those comments are pre qualified and accurate to what they wish to communicate to the sender.

Information on the customer as well as that contained in their emails will be stored for a reasonable period of time after the customer has cancelled the service. It is recommended that any information required to be filed is forwarded by the customer to an external inbox and anything not required be deleted. 

No comments in the defused mail should be considered advice and it is not the role of defusers to advise on any level.

Defuser.com is not responsible for the contents or reliability of any linked websites and does not necessarily endorse the views expressed within them. Likewise we do not endorse any information received from linked websites or third party references to the services of defuser.com.

Reasonable use policy

The prices quoted cover anticipated demand of 5 emails per week, each defused within 24hrs. If the emails received are consistently more than 5 per week or if the customer demands instant service Defuser.com reserves the right to address this workload and notify the customer of additional charges that will apply for future actions.

Privacy Policy

Where you voluntarily provide personal information we will only use this information to assist you. Information contained in the received emails as well as the defused and replied emails will at all times remain confidential.

We will keep any such information secure and will not disclose it to any third parties. You have the ability to edit and delete all information contained in the emails. Emails will be stored in a file for a period of time after you have discontinued the service but we recommend you forward to your private email any emails you wish to file for future reference.
